Reva.ai is an AI-powered platform focused on unifying and simplifying policy governance, access management, and security for modern enterprises. The company delivers a comprehensive solution that enables organizations to design, manage, and enforce access policies across applications, AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and identity management. Leveraging AI-driven recommendations and a policy-as-code approach, Reva.ai helps businesses accelerate policy creation, ensure compliance, and maintain robust security postures while supporting frameworks like AVP, Cedar, and OPA. Its platform is designed to empower both technical and business users, offering features such as integrated testing, approval workflows, versioning, and real-time monitoring to streamline policy operations and enhance organizational agility. Reva was looking for a partner in building out the Generative AI capabilities and AWS architecture best practices for their platform, so that they can accelerate their MVP launch.

Solution

Aivar partnered with Reva to build out their platform that automates policy design, enforcement, and governance, leveraging Amazon Bedrock for generative AI, SageMaker for custom ML workflows, and Amazon Verified Permissions (AVP) with the Cedar policy language for centralized, fine-grained authorization. By integrating advanced AI capabilities, the solution delivers natural language policy generation, explainability, and automated recommendations, streamlining compliance and operational governance.

Architecture

The Reva AI platform is architected for high availability, scalability, and security using a suite of AWS managed services. Core AI and API layers are stateless, enabling auto-scaling and rapid failover. Data stores—including Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift—are deployed across multiple Availability Zones for durability and resilience. Amazon Bedrock powers generative AI workflows, while SageMaker supports custom ML training and deployment. Semantic search and knowledge graph capabilities are delivered via Amazon OpenSearch and Neptune, enabling advanced policy retrieval and relationship mapping. API Gateway and Lambda orchestrate secure, event-driven compute, with CloudWatch and CloudTrail providing real-time observability and audit logging. The architecture ensures seamless integration, operational excellence, and robust compliance, with all components managed natively within AWS for unified security and monitoring.

Reva AI’s generative AI-powered platform delivered a measurable transformation in policy management:
